Mustangs In A Better Place
A few years ago I got a call from a friend about an older mustang mare, who had been seized with a herd of others from an abuse and starvation situation. The mare, still wild and 14 years, was going to have to be euthanized if a home could not be found. She was black and she was gorgeous and I had a place for her, so off I went to the Front Range of Colorado.

Gypsy got on well with the other ponies and the donkey, but kept to herself. I had heard of another, older mustang mare at a rescue, who could use a forever home, thereby giving the rescue room for another. So off I went to the front range again and picked up Ruby. Ruby and Gypsy took to each other like long lost friends, so I was happy that I had found her with the help of an awesome sponsor, who paid Ruby's adoption fee and my gas to go and pick her up.
