Funny Marta by Svetlana Petrova
It was very cold day in St-Petersburg, Russia - 22 december 2012.
I was working with my perfect model - Marta, russian heavy horse. I planned to make a perfect portrait, but Marta started to licked ice from the lips and I understood that it's a really funny scene!

Re: 2012 Winter Solstice Project
My horses stayed in their stable today, they can walk out freely but it's a rainy en muddy Solstice in Holland. When they hear me coming the little one (Bella) asks the big one (Albaton): is there any food coming, I can't see...Photo by Josefien Spoelder
