Re: IMAGE SHOWCASE
This was an amazing Class, Sherron you taught me so much and I have a whole new respect for so many artists and the work they do.
Thank you for so freely and cheerfully sharing out of your wealth of knowledge of this most fascinating field of study and endeavor. Your enthusiasm has been infectious, made it even more of a joy to learn this great material you shared. This class was the most intense, but amazing one I have ever taken, it pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me a new skill that I will treasure.
Thank You
Since the change to my photo was so great I wanted to show the before photo

Re: IMAGE SHOWCASE
My normal day to day photography is head shots, but working on these assignments has made me more sensitive to other subjects. This has been a great experience and I look forward to another session when Sherron decides to offer it. She always gives such great advice and suggestions. It helps me expand my creative processes. This image is the one I would like to share.
It is a flower in my garden studio area, and when I was trying to find appropriate material to work on it seemed to be a selection that might work.
Here is the before image.

Re: IMAGE SHOWCASE
Here is the after image, using the watercolor technique and ideas.
I found this particular exercise was something that allowed me to be a little more open in my approach to photography, and after over 50 years in the business, that is an accomplishment for me.
Working on this image gave me more insight into the dynamics of my Photoshop brushes, and I certainly enjoyed that aspect as well.
I always enjoy learning new things and stretching my creative capacity and these three weeks certainly gave me that opportunity.
Thanks again, Sherron, I wish this course was longer, there were more ideas I would have liked to explore. Maybe next time!

Re: IMAGE SHOWCASE
This is one of my favorite edits from the class. This is the watercolor wash technique. I had this image printed as a canvas mount with a white border for my husband's birthday...she is his horse!

Re: IMAGE SHOWCASE
This second image was such a fun project. I did the oil painting technique on it and love the way it came out. It has been juried into a Prescott, Arizona art gallery show starting next week. The gallery is called 'Tis Gallery. VERY excited!!

This image was done early in class. Loved getting started, couldn't wait to learn more.

Re: IMAGE SHOWCASE
I thoroughly enjoyed this class! This image was created using the Watercolor Wash technique. This little duck was walking on ice.
