Submitting work to an Art Gallery

Post by oleander »

Is anyone aware of an archived discussion on the website regarding how to submit work to an art gallery?

Thank you!

Chris, we have a newsletter that has a lot of good info and links:

this is from a while back now but should get you started, and you can try searching the forums as well.

I have had much more success selling my fine art prints through tack shops than art galleries and they are happy with only 20% commission rather than the gallery 40 - 50%
Plus you have a much more target rich clientelle
